Blackboard Courses for Winter - When you add a Blackboard-supported class you are automatically added to the Blackboard course roster. To login to Blackboard, first login to the My MtSAC Portal, then click the link for Blackboard in the "Home" tab. Your course will be listed on the "Courses" tab as soon as your instructor makes it available.

Find Online Classes - To find online classes, see the Class Schedule Search Page (click the option for "Online Classes Only" at the bottom) or see the Quick Index of Winter Classes or Quick Index of Spring Classes.
NEW: See a list of all Blackboard supported classes. Use this page to locate Blackboard-supported classes, view online/hybrid requirements, view class schedule information, view course notes, contact the instructor, and determine if a Blackboard course has been made available to students.

On-Campus meetings - Most online classes have an initial on-campus orientation meeting. Your instructor may require that you attend the orientation meeting to confirm your membership in the class. If you cannot attend, be sure to contact your instructor as soon as possible. You can find the meeting times and locations and instructor email addresses in the quick indexes (Quick Index of Winter Classes and Quick Index of Spring Classes). To see more detailed information, click the course reference number (CRN) listed for each class on the Class Schedule Search Page. Class meetings are shown on the bottom left under "Section Information Text".

How do I logon to Blackboard? - First, logon to the My MtSAC portal, then click the Blackboard link on the "Home" tab. You can also logon to Blackboard as a guest. Some instructors make their courses partially available to students to preview as a guest.

I'm registered for a Blackboard-supported class but it's not listed in Blackboard. - Your instructor must first setup the course before you can access it. Once the course is ready, your instructor will make it available and it will appear on the "Courses" tab when you logon to Blackboard. See which Blackboard courses are currently available.

How can I contact the instructor for my online course? - Your instructor's email address is shown on the Quick Index of Winter Classes and Quick Index of Spring Classes. You can also find it listed with your class schedule on the My MtSAC portal (click the CRN for the class). When you contact your instructor, please include your name, Mt. SAC ID, the course title and course reference number (CRN). You can also find contact information for some instructors on the Faculty Index.
